Proposal Evaluations
An impeccable proposal is key both to attracting an agent to represent you and to enabling the agent in turn to entice editors and publishers. It’s also an important marketing tool for all nonfiction book authors, whether they aim to self-publish or publish traditionally.
THIS IS FOR YOU IF:
You’ve drafted a complete proposal, revised and polished it to the best of your ability, and need feedback about whether it’s in shape to submit for consideration for representation or publication.
WHAT YOU’LL GET:
- An assessment of your proposal’s thoroughness and readiness for submission
- An editorial letter with detailed feedback and specific recommendations for improvement
- A one-hour Zoom or call to discuss feedback and next steps.
TIME FRAME:
Approximately three weeks from our agreed-upon start time and my receipt of your proposal
INVESTMENT:
$595 for up to 70,000 words; $.01 for each additional word
Or
$1,100 to add another review after your revision, a second editorial letter, and a second Zoom or call
WHEN WE’RE DONE:
You’ll be ready to submit your proposal or you’ll have clear, specific suggestions for revision. You may then be ready to move on to a proposal edit or pitch strategy coaching.
